The Student Hub is centrally located in the College off the Middle Green in B Block. A wide variety of supports are available here for students including access to Diversity and Inclusion Staff, School Chaplain, House Deans, Guidance Officers, School Social Worker, School Based Youth Health Nurse, Speech Pathologist.
The space is available throughout the day for students, including lunchtimes. During lunch times the Student Hub provides a space for students to access small social games or a quiet space, building connections with other students within the College. Our College Breaky Club, run by our School Chappy, operates in this space Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings each week.
Students may attend the Student Hub for a range of purposes including:
- Meetings with House Dean, Case Managers;
- Intensive and targeted teaching to support curriculum and social and emotional wellbeing;
- Report an incident;
- Re-Teach and/or Reflect – interventions focused on additional teaching of skills to support students in meeting College expectations; and
- Disability specific supports from our specialist staff.
