Welcome to Murrumba State Secondary College.
Since opening in 2012, we have had a clear and unrelenting focus on fostering a positive and engaging learning environment in which every young learner develops a sense of belonging and is inspired to shape their preferred future.
Our College is situated in one of Brisbane's northern suburbs, approximately 20kms from the city centre. We started with only 324 students in years 7 and 8 upon opening and reached maturity in 2016, as our foundation Year 8s became the inaugral Year 12 cohort. Today, the College has over 1700 students, and we have built an enviable reputation in the local community as the first-choice education provider.
Murrumba State Secondary College boasts first class facilities and cutting-edge technology, providing students with an authentic and high-quality learning environment. Our array of curriculum offerings is wide, catering to the varied interests of our students and the diverse needs of 21st century learners. This in turn lays a strong foundation for further study or entering the world of work. We are recognized for our amazing achievements in academic, sporting and cultural pursuits. In particular, our highly regarded Programs of Excellence, provide students with enriching learning experiences in the fields of Engineering, Dance, Music, Spanish and Football. As a foundation staff member of the College, I am incredibly proud of the achievements of our students over the years and how we have grown as a College.
