Please read all of the information in our enrolment pack before submitting your application.

Murrumba State Secondary College recognises as its prime obligation, the provision of access to an appropriate educational service for students whose principal place of residence is within the school’s catchment area.

Because of enrolment capacity and growth Murrumba State Secondary College may be unable to meet this obligation in the future, unless action is taken to manage enrolments. The Principal must restrict the enrolment of out-of-catchment students to ensure in-catchment students can enrol at their local state school, without requiring additional facilities.

This School Enrolment Management Plan (School EMP) sets out the conditions under which students may be enrolled into Murrumba State Secondary College, subject to any other requirements or limitations in the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006.

The Murrumba SSC Enrolment Management Plan identifies opportunity for enrolment from Out of Catchment into identified Programs of Excellence, where vacancy exists. Please see the Murrumba SSC EMP for details.

Step 2: The enrolment interview

Proof of residency documents eg rates notice, electricity notice, proof of purchase or lease agreement (original documents only will be accepted) are required prior to enrolment processing. When these documents have been provided to the Enrolments Officer, details of the enrolment sessions will be communicated when the sessions have been scheduled.

 Please be prepared. Without the correct documents the enrolment cannot proceed. At least one week prior to the enrolment session please provide the following documents:

  • Each child's birth certificate or passport to be sighted;
  • A current passport and visa (copy) is required for any child born overseas and;
