Murrumba State Secondary College hosts provides a series of information and education workshops aimed at parents and family members. There will be 8 workshops held throughout the year that will cover a range of topics such as:
- Skills for academic success
- Success in Literacy and Numeracy
- Academic processes and procedures at the College
- Information and communication technology skills
- Goal setting and future pathways
- Responsible use of social media and the internet
- Positive parenting
There will be light refreshments at each workshop, and all parents will receive a number of resources to take away with them.

We also now have a Parent Handbook (PDF, 661KB) available to view.
An Assessment Genres Guide (PDF, 467KB) has been developed to assist students and parents understand the different genres of assessment.
