Activities

Murrumba State Secondary College runs many extra-curricular programs both before and after school and both lunch times. A schedule has been put together to show all of the activities and when they fall in the week.

Individual Activities 

  • Culinary Club

    Murrumba Culinary Club is for students wishing to extend their culinary skills or for those who enjoy cooking in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

  • Girls Touch Training

    Girls in Year 8 & 9 who are selected to represent the College in Touch, will be required to participate in training every Tuesday.

  • Optiminds

    Opti-MINDS is a creative problem solving event for teams of participants.

  • Rock and Water

    The program aims to enhance and promote self-respect, self-control and self-confidence.

  • SciConnect

    An extension of the science program which allows Year 9 EEP students to mentor Year 5 and 6 students from local primary schools.

  • Spanish Tutorials

    These sessions are aimed to help students who are struggling in their Spanish classes.

  • Student Volunteering and Community Service Program

    In Years 7, 8 and 9 students have the opportunity to give up some of their own time at the College to volunteer in a range of different activities.
