The start of the new school year has seen iServices as busy as ever. It is a popular place at lunchtime as well as before school with many students visiting to organize computer logons, completing homework, or borrowing a great book to read.
During the breaks, we usually have over 100 students in iServices. There are board games to play, magazines to browse and comfortable chairs to just sit and relax in. Even though it is often noisy, the silent study room is available for those who need a quieter place to work.
iServices is the place to come for help with any computer related issues including using the virtual classrooms in the Learning Place or using MyMaths Online. Our student IT Gurus are available each lunch break to assist students who have problems with their computers or tablets.
On Thursday afternoons, Homework Club is held in iServices until 4pm. Teachers volunteer their time to assist students with homework and assignments. Students sign in as they arrive. If students are leaving before 4pm they need to sign out, indicating the time they leave. It is expected that students attending Homework Club are working on completing school work.
iServices is open most mornings from 8am.
