Anzac Day

On Friday 24th April, Murrumba SSC gathered to commemorate the one-hundredth year anniversary of the ANZAC landing at Gallipoli. College leaders officiated over a ceremony in front of invited guests, parents, teachers and students. Our guest speaker Lieutenant Willet spoke of the bravery of the ANZACs and his family’s personal experiences in defence of our country. As a solemn occasion, the college choir, band and Year 11 music students performed pieces to remind us of the sacrifices made by our service men and women.

On Saturday the 25th April, over one-hundred MSSC students and staff represented the college by marching in the Pine Rivers Anzac Day March. College leaders laid a wreath at the memorial to recognise Australian service men and women who gave their lives for our country
